SF Steinhart Aquarium
This week we seemed to have an aquatic theme around our little day trips. We went to SF on Tuesday to the Steinhart Aquarium (actually the temporary one while they're building the new one) and to the tide pools in Half Moon Bay. We almost went to the SF Aquarium of the Bay but thought that might just be overkill!

My baby nephew Ronnie has finally arrived!!!!!
I'm so excited that my brother's baby is here! He is such a cutie!!!!!!
And that I was able to finish the baby's quilt in time for his arrival!!!!

My very first quilt!!!! FINISHED!!!
When I was pregnant and had my baby shower, one of the gifts that meant so much to me was the beautiful quilt my Aunt Rita made for the baby. My baby is now 12 1/2 and he still loves that quilt. I decided when I found out my brother was going to have a baby, that I wanted to learn how to make a quilt so I could take it to the hospital the day my nephew was born.
I literally finished sewing the last corner when my brother called to say they were at the hospital and would be calling back to let us know how long they thought it might be til he's here (once my sis-in-law is examined).
I am so happy I was able to finish the quilt in time and can't wait to give it to them!!!
It was a lot of work and I definitely appreciate all the time and hard work it took to make the quilt I was given 13 years ago. Hopefully my nephew will enjoy his new quilt. =0)

Boys and Their Toys.....
My husband loves to race r/c boats and this week we are having an International Racing event. We've been preparing for it since last September and it has been a lot of work to get to this point, but it's all come together and is a huge success! Here are a few pics from our week so far:

Sea Cliff Beach
After we went Strawberry Picking we went to Sea Cliff Beach.
I'd never been to this beach before. It was really nice although kinda crowded (Friday we probably not the best day to go to the beach but it's okay we found a nice spot and enjoyed our stay!)

Strawberry Pickin'
Me and my friend took our kids to Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville to go Strawberry Picking. It was a lot of fun and we got some great pictures!!!! (The strawberries were soooo yummy too!!! definitely worth the work and the drive!)
