Favorite Restaurant...
While my friend Valerie was here visiting from Illinois, we had to stop at our favorite mexican restaurant "La Casitas". I used to eat here all the time especially when I worked in that area of town. I hadn't had la casitas for a long time so when Valerie said she HAD to go there before she went back home I was definitely down to go!
The rest of the day we spent shopping. We stopped at Suzy's scrapbook store, went to the mall and checked out the new "Steve & Barrys" store - I think I am gonna love that place!!!! And ended the day with dessert at chilis.

Camping Trip
We spent a few days at lake Siskiyou camping with my family, my sister's family, my mom and some of her friends....here are a few pics from our trip:
The kids feeding a deer:
a cute squirrel:
Mount Shasta in the distance:
Miso chillin' in the "kids tent"
In case you didn't know this is the kids' tent only(my nephew made a sign):
I love this picture of my favorite guy!
The husband scored BIG points for bringing lumpia to the potluck we had with my sister's family and all her friends.
Home Sweet RV!!!
My family has always played backgammon, especially when camping. I decided it was time for my husband to learn how to play. He's extremely competitive but I had to show him who's boss.
Here is me predicting the outcome of the game:
My husband "thinks" it's in the bag....
Can you tell how the game ended? ha ha!!!
So it's not even close to being a favorite family picture (I look like hell but we're camping you know?)
I Love this picture of my son and his cousins together:
My brother in law had the kids crackin' up during this little photo shoot we took before we left:

Where's Jenn???
I know...I've been missing in action for a little bit. We had an r/c boat race last weekend that my husband was putting on so I was busy helping him prepare for that. I had to keep score all weekend so it was a very tiring weekend.
This week has been fun because I was looking forward to Wednesday. My Day with my friend Valerie (the one who moved away to illinois last October). She's here in town visiting for a few weeks and we planned a fun day in San Francisco.
We took our boys to Jack London Square to ride the ferry to pier 41. Then walked to Fisherman's Wharf (stopping to get a shrimp cocktail - YUMMO!) to rent an electric car to cruise around the city in. It was so much fun!
This picture was taken at Crissy Fields (too bad it was a little foggy and a little windy at the time it was taken, but hey, it's SF that's what it looks like sometimes!)
We cruised down Lombard street and stopped at the bottom of the hill to take some pics. The boys thought it would be funny to jump in the driver's seat and pretend to go for a drive!!!
We had lunch at Joe's Crab Shack which I love to eat at. The one in SF isn't as good (service-wise) as the one in Anaheim and they don't seem to do the little dance routines like the Anaheim one either but the food is great and the atmosphere is fun.
After Joe's Crab Shack we walked around Pier 39, and ended the day with a clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl..YUMMMY!!!!!
We took the last ferry boat home to Jack London Square....it was such a fun day! Hanging out with Valerie and her kids is always fun!!!!!!!

Just a quick one.....
My family and I are getting ready to leave to go camping! I can't wait! Now, we usually do go camping quite often because of our r/c boat racing schedule, but this camping trip is just a regular camping trip. No boat races. Just some quality family time! My sister and her family are going as well as a bunch of her friends and their families. We are picking up my mom and my niece and nephew since we're going up a day ahead of everyone else. I can't wait! I guess I'm a little too excited, I woke up at 4:30am and can't go back to sleep (i'll be paying for this later!!!)
