Christian's 14th Bday Trip

I'm a bit behind on my blogging...sorry about that. I'm going to do my best to update my blog and not get so far behind again (we'lls ee how that goes!)

For Christian's 14th bday we went to Bass Lake and Yosemite. My BFF Trisha and her family gave us the use of their time share and it just happened to be the weekend of his bday...perfect timing! The timeshare was amazing. Plenty of room for all of us. We were very close to yosemite and spent lots of time playing in the snow!!! I was so happy that my sister and her family were able to join us so Christian could hang out and have fun with his cousins Katie & Matthew.

#1 What is his name? Jose Alfredo Bibaoco Lanza (Goes by Alfred)

#2 Who eats more? I would say usually Alfred.

#3 Who said "I love you" first? He did

#4 Who is taller? Alfred

#5 Who is smarter? I would have to say me, when it comes to book smarts, but he has a lot more street smarts than me. I can be kind of naive and gullible at times.


#6 Who is more sensitive? Definitely me.

#7 Who does the laundry? I do

#8 Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does

#9 Who pays the bills? We both pay them meaning both of us work, but I handle making sure they get paid on time.

#10 Who cooks more? It depends. Usually weeknights since I went back to work, he's taken over cooking dinner. He's awesome on the BBQ!


#11 Who is more stubborn? We both have our moments, but I'd say he is and he'd say I am ;)


#12 Who is the first to admit they are wrong? It's a toss up, but I would have to say more often than not it's me.


#13 Who has more siblings? We both are the baby of our families with one brother and one sister each!

#14 Who wears the pants in the relationship? Most of the time, he does.

#15 What do you like to do together? Watch movies

#16 Who eats more sweets? Me, for sure!


#17 Guilty pleasures? r/c boat racing

#18 How did you meet? Through our friend Marisa when I was in high school. She gave him my phone # and said this is the one you're gonna marry. He started calling me, and the rest was history.

#19 Who asked whom out first? He asked me of course!

#20 Who kissed who first? He kissed me.

#21 Who proposed? He did

#22 His best features and qualities? Okay my family reads this so I'll keep it to his smile. I love to see him laugh / smile. When he sets his mind to do something, he can achieve anything! That's one of the things I really admire about him.

My new camera strap!!!!

Check out my new camera strap I ordered from my BFF Valerie! When I found out she had a new one in her etsy shop named after me, of course I had to have one!!!! And it coordinates very nicely with my scrapbook room! LOL!

Short version of where I've been....

Been sick with a bad cold.
Found out I am pregnant again.
Found out it's ectopic (tubal)
Been in the ER for the whole day last weekend.
Resting and trying to get through this.

Hopefully will be back to my self really soon.....

Thursday Feb 12 - Project 365

Tonight we had several projects to work on....
First was my work needed hershey bars wrapped for a trade show we're doing the next few weekends. They hired Christian to help out. He did a great job and wrapped 144 candy bars (4 cases)!!!






I had my own project to work on. I always really get into holidays and like to hand out a little something to my coworkers. Last year I did Valentine Oreo Pops. This year I made these lollipop wrappers to hand out and of course everything always looks better with a little bling...so they each get a blingy heart next to their name. (I'm sure the girls will appreciate this more than the guys LOL!)

Feb 10 - Project 365

I had a great day today. My friend whom I've known since 9th grade texted me to see if I had plans this evening. She has season tix (well actually they're her husband's) and wanted me and Christian to go with her and her daughter Alexis to the Warriors vs. Nicks game. We had a great time, the game was really good and it was so much fun catching up on things. The kids get along great as they are only 2 months apart in age, and after the game we stopped at Starbucks to hang out for a bit....

Feb 9 - I have THE BEST COUSIN EVVVVVVVER!

My cousin Chrisi lives in Pennsylvania (where I'm from), and knows how much I LOVE TASTYKAKES! You can get them out here but they cost an arm & a leg for one little pack. She can get a whole box for the same price in Pennsylvania. Tonight we came home from valentine's shopping (Christian bought his little girlfriend a locket from Target with his own money-but that's a whole nother story)....anyways...we got home and I noticed a box by the front door. The return address catches my eye and I realize it's from Pennsylvania. I yell out TASTYKAKES!!!! WOOO HOOO!

Feb 8 - Valentine's Celebration (early)

When I was growing up my mom used to always make a big deal about Valentine's day. She'd have a special dinner and dessert and we'd all exchange cards and little gifts. It was always really exciting for me. I've always carried that tradition on since we had Christian. Alfred and I never do the valentine's day couples thing. It's always all about family. Christian and I decorate for valentine's and make it look like a party, and we all exchange cards and little gifts.

My mom had a little early valentine's dinner celebration for all of us tonight and it was so nice! My brother was sick so him, his fiance and baby Ronnie couldn't make it but my sister and her family were there and we had a really great time!

Project 365 - Feb 7

Watching my $$ go down the drain. That's the theme of the day.
Our plumbing is messed up and needs to be replaced throughout our whole front yard.
Just what I need a few thousand dollars worth of repairs...why does it always happen like that, you come into some money and then something breaks!? The joys of homeownership.

This is a lovely picture of my bathroom floor with the toilet removed. It was great going to bed saturday night and not having anywhere to use the bathroom because we only have one bathroom in our house!!!
